Commitment to Accessibility
Schats is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our website is accessible to all users. [1]
 

Goal

Our goal is to ensure our website conforms, as much as possible, to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and user-friendly for everyone.
 

Accessibility Features
To ensure our website is accessible, we take the following steps:

• Alt Text: Providing text alternatives for non-text content, such as images, icons, and graphics.

• Keyboard Navigation: Ensuring the site can be fully navigated using a keyboard.

• Structural Headings: Using proper headings, lists, and landmarks for screen reader navigation.

• Color Contrast: Maintaining sufficient color contrast between foreground content and background colors.

• Accessible Forms: Ensuring forms have labels, allowing users to enter and submit information easily.

Known Platform Limitations

This website is built on the Wix website platform. Certain accessibility issues identified in our audit are generated by Wix's underlying code and cannot be remediated directly through the website editor. We have documented these as known limitations and are monitoring for resolution through platform updates.

 

The following issues are attributable to the Wix platform rather than to content we control:

• Hidden iframe exposed to assistive technology (WCAG 1.3.1, Info and Relationships): Wix generates an internal <iframe role="presentation"> element that is visually hidden but remains present in the accessibility tree. This may cause some screen readers to encounter an unexpected element. This element serves no functional purpose for any user and does not affect the ability to access content or complete any task on this site.

• Hidden structural elements exposed to assistive technology (WCAG 1.3.1, Info and Relationships): Wix generates internal layout <div> containers that are visually hidden but exposed to assistive technology. These elements are part of Wix's rendering infrastructure and are not content we are able to modify. They do not block access to any content or functionality on this site.

 

We will update this statement when platform-level fixes become available. Users who experience difficulty as a result of these limitations are encouraged to contact us directly for assistance.
